(Written in Nigerian pidgin English)

If you know say you no pay me my money, better bring am out o.

Silence.

Eee eee eeee.

Somebody wey dey inside this bus no pay me my money. It suppose be 1,600 naira, but na 1,500 dey my hand.

Silence.

Oooo.  I say somebody wey dey inside this bus don commit. The person no pay me my money.

Silence.

Conductor: Aunty, you pay?

Aunty: Ah, taps neighbor. Shae you no see me when I pay?

Neighbour: ah Aunty no mind am o. Conductor,  she don pay na.

Conductor: Abeg Aunty no vex. Erm… broda, you pay?

Broda: Ehe see me see wahala o? Shae you see me for your dream abi wetin?, My face be like person wey no pay? Or you chop beans this morning, your brain con dey miss road?

Neighbour: Oh conductor, he pay, he pay now. Nawa for you o. How much sef wey you just dey make noise for pesin head since morning. Ordinary 100 naira na in you wan cry en. Something wey you go take buy gala forget.

Conductor: Ah. K’ oda o (It is not good o). Ah. Ehe. My money o. Talk now o, talk now o.

Silence. Conductor continues… 

See, the thing be say, I never chop since morning and my oga talk say if the money no complete, na me go suffer am. I take God beg una. If you know say you never pay, just bring am now ejor nitori Olorun (Please in the name of God).

Silence. 

Please na. Silence
Please na. Silence
Please na. Silence.

See. Make i just tell all of una say my papa na babalawo(juju man) for village o… Hin be strong babalawo. Abi you no wan confess. The person wey do this bad thing eh, the thing wey go happen to hin life…

Neighbour: interrupts harshly Eeee EEssss Esssss conductor M’ombole m’ombole (I’m getting down, I’m getting down now now).
